After opening the downloaded Disk Image (.dmg file) double click the .mpkg.
First the Installer asks for execution of scripts. This is necessary to determine which Maya versions are installed.
Installer shows a welcome screen.
Destination and Installation type are determinded automatically depending on installed Maya versions. Just click Install.
Next you have to enter your username and password to allow installation of the plug-in(s).
Wait until installation is finished.
Installation is finished. You may close Installer now.
Maya Plug-ins may be uninstalled via Autodesk Uninstaller. If you don't have Autodesk Uninstaller in your Dock you may find it here:
- /Library/Application Support/Alias/Uninstaller/Autodesk Uninstaller.app (Maya 2008)
- /Applications/Utilities/AutodeskUninstaller/Autodesk Uninstaller.app (Maya 2009)
To uninstall the COLLADA Plug-ins select them in the Autodesk Uninstaller GUI.
